Gaywaves is the longest continuously aired LGBTQ public affairs radio program in Ohio and probably beyond, having originally aired as Radio Lambda in the 1970s. The show's expanded format and pre-recorded interviews have given the opportunity to share parts of the show beyond NE Ohio. This podcast is the best of the recorded interviews with LGBTQ news makers and opinion shapers from all over the country. The interviewer is Eric Resnick, a premiere LGBT newspaper journalist formally with the now defunct Gay People's Chronicle. The podcast features newsworthy interviews with national LGBT political figures, activists, and community leaders.

The National Coming Out Day 2024 Gaywaves is chocked full of news and commentary, including:
A suit has been filed in South Korean courts that may soon bring marriage equality there.
The U.S. Supreme Court will hear United States v. Skrmetti this session, which will decide whether or not states can deny minors gender-affirming medical care.
Anti-transgender themed U.S. Senate campaign ads run by the Republican super PAC controlled by Mitch McConnell are effective, there by threatening the tenure of Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown and Wisconsin's Tammy Baldwin, the first out lesbian elected to the U.S. Senate.
A request by Gays Against Groomers, an anti-LGBTQ rights group, to receive a flag flown over the Colorado State Capitol threatens to shut the entire program down.
Gaywaves remembers Rep. David Hobson, the former Ohio State Senator who passed one of the first laws in the nation protecting the rights of those with HIV, known as "the Hobson Act" in 1987.
All this and more!
